At Animal Health Clinic we provide climate controlled care for your pets if you are going to be away from your pet for any period of time.  A licensed veterinarian is only a step away if there are health concerns or medical problems with your pet.

When you board your dog with us, we will let your pet out in our play yard for to play and run in the grass.  Upon your request, we’ll even hand walk your dog.  We have medium sized runs for smaller dogs and large runs for large or multiple dogs in the same family.  Animal Health Clinic feeds and recommends Hill’s Science Diet unless you have a special diet for your dog.  We also provide bedding for the comfort of your pet.

Feline boarding is in a separate room than canine boarding.  Cats have an opportunity to stretch their legs in the boarding room.  We feed them and change their litter boxes at least twice a day.

Additional Optional Services

While boarding, your pet has the opportunity to receive additional pampering.  Options include:

  • Nail Trim
  • Full groom before going home
  • Medication administration
  • Elective procedures, such as dental cleanings may be done while your pet is boarding with us.

Vaccine Guidelines

We do require your pets vaccines be current to board with us at AHC.  Distemper-Parvo combination, Rabies and Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccines are required for dogs.  Cats need to be current on Distemper and Rabies.  If you have questions about the status of your pet’s vaccines, ask one of our staff members.  If your pet’s vaccines were administered at another veterinary facility, please bring proof of vaccines with you upon check-in.

Drop off and Pick- up Hours:

Drop off and pick-up hours are regular office hours.  Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.  There are no Sunday drop off or pick-up hours.

Prices:

Food, bedding and care are provided in the cost of boarding.

1 dog in a run: $16.00/night

2 dogs in the same family in the same run: $28.00/night

3 dogs in the same family in the same run: $38.00/night

Cats:  $10.00/night

If you pick your animal up before 12:00 pm, you will not be charged for the night.  However, if you pick your pet up after 12:00 pm, you will be charged an additional night.
